Marseille returned to the top of the Ligue 1 table thanks to a thrilling 4-2 win over lowly Nice courtesy of Andre Ayew's hat-trick.
Knowing they needed maximum points to go back above Lille, Didier Deschamps' side took the lead through Ayew, only for Abdou Traore to level before the break.
But Ayew restored his side's lead and Jordan Ayew made it 3-1 before Andre Ayew's last-minute goal completed his hat-trick. Renato Civelli scored a consolation for the visitors.
A last-minute goal from Yoann Gourcuff ensured Lyon kept their title hopes alive with a 3-2 victory over Montpellier.
Les Gones led twice at Stade Gerland with strikes from Ederson and Lisandro Lopez, but were pegged by equalisers from Olivier Giroud and Souleymane Camara.
However, Lyon dug deep in the dying seconds and Gourcuff produced the goods which leaves them five points behind Marseille, who top the standings following their win over Nice tonight.
